Unlike the past 3 years, we did not throw Annabelle a BIG birthday bash. We still had a lot of fun & celebrated a LOT!
1st Birthday cake we shared with Tommy’s family on Easter Sunday at the lake. I told her we could make her cake together but she wanted to go to Sam’s & pick one out. She did not pick a traditional birthday cake or cupcakes. She picked a triple chocolate pound cake with chocolate drizzle & shaved milk chocolate on top (can you tell she likes chocolate?! LOL)
She did an excellent job picking out a cake, it was super yummy. Annabelle & Eli both asked for seconds.
The day before her birthday we took a Lalaloopsy cake & a pinata to school, to celebrate with her classmates.
On her actual birthday we had a fun filled day! The Brown’s went to Chick-fila with us for lunch (it is Annabelle’s favorite) We let the girls play for a while in the play area
& then, half of the Phillips’ family meet us at Lovin’ Spoons for Frozen Yogurt.
Can you guess what kind of FroYo the birhtday girl picked?!
Fudge Brownie Batter with chocolate sprinkles!
She knew about of lunch & yogurt plans but what she did not know was that we were going to go bowling too! (her very 1st time)
She did not want anymore pictures made 😦 she looked so cute in her bowling shoes! I did get her to take a selfie with me if her icee could be in the picture too!
We came home at 520 on the dot so that she could open her presents from Tommy & I. We gave her a soccer ball & goal and the frozen movie.
Annabelle’s choice for dinner-The Rusty Pig.
After dinner we invited our neighbors down to help us finish up the last of her birthday cake.
Happy birthday sweet girl. We LOVE you!
At 5:20 pm today our sweet Belle turned 4.
Tommy & I are incredibly blessed that God choose this sweet girl to be ours.
We can not wait to see what the Lord has in store for her life. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
We may not have had a HUGE blow out like we have had in the past, but we had a pretty awesome day,
doing things you love & trying something new
with some people we love dearly & that love you too 🙂
We love you MORE sweet girl to the moon & back! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
In one month from today, my baby girl will be 4.
I. can. not. believe. it!
Last weekend we saw her MaMa & PaPa (Tommy’s grandparents) they insisted on giving her birthday gift early. They gave her a card with cash moneies (as Annabelle says) and a few new coloring books for her birthday.
This morning I let her spend some of it.
“momma, it’s so fun to pay for things with my own cash monies!”
The whole way home, she talked about putting on her new bathing suit & her new swim goggles & that is what she did!
It is so hard to believe that our baby turned 2 last Thursday. We are so very thankful that God choose us to be her parents. I can not imagine my life with out her.
I think it may be safe to say that the terrible two’s have started. Her birthday was filled with lots of “fits” for no reason. She has pitched fits before but not as many as she has since she turned two. Fits because she picked out her clothes & then decided it was not what she wanted to wear, because she has the wrong cup, or because a cracker or chip is not whole. Most of her fits happen at meal time. I am not sure if it is out of frustration or just because she wants to, but her food usually goes flying across the table.
Do your kids pitch fit, what are they over and how do you deal with them?
