Fun @ Fripp

At the beginningĀ of the month we went to FrippĀ Island for the weekend. It was a first for all of us. Thanks our friends Joe & Neely (really Neely’s Aunt) for putting us up for the weekend. We meet Joe & Neely & a nother couple who we had never meet-Heather & Cliff and their son Jackson. Jackson is a cute little boy who will be 2 in a couple of months. Annabelle really enjoyed playing and dancing with him. He taught her some new moves (the chicken wing)

On Friday night when we pulled up in the drive way there was a deer waiting for us to get out of the car. They are so friendly and will eat right out of your hands. We feed her some grapes & pringles.

Annabelle woke up bright and early on Saturday morning. We had breakfast on the screened porch and shared our muffins and grapes with the deer.Ā  We spent the whole day at the beach and cooked a feast on the grill for dinner, chicken, shrimp, steaks, & scallops. It was enough food to feed an army-everything was oh, so very good! We rode around on golf carts that evening & we were sad that we had to leave on Sunday.

The couple that we had never meet, I am sure we will be seeing again. We had a small world moment (we have had a few of these lately- IĀ think they are super neat) Heather’s grandma has a lake house in the neighborhood that Tommy grew up in. They are up there a lot & we have been too, lately. We hope that we can all get together again soon. I know Annabelle would like to play & dance with Jackson again.
