Yes, I know I have missed a few FFF’s lately. So here is mine FFF for this week-I promise to do better!

We spent some time last weekend with Tommy’s family. The 3 oldest cousins loved spending time together!

IMG_6017I have more pictures from our weekend that I will share later!

Happy Friday!

For Father’s Day, Tommy wanted to eat at Mellow Mushroom. It was Annabelle’s 1st time there. She thought is was a lot of fun & wanted to take a picture with everything!

I love this one because she looks like she belongs in a movie & this monster is after her.

Disney Cruise/10 year Anniversary

WARNING:be prepared for a long post ๐Ÿ™‚

In case we are not friends on Facebook or one of the few people I talk to on the phone.

Last month we spent 7 nights on a Disney Cruise!

IMG_5240Tommy surprised Annabelle a few days before our trip with a chevron suit case that she had her eye on at Target. She knew we were going somewhere-but did not know where!

I only have wonderful things to say about our trip & if I had to use one word to describe it – AMAZING!

When we got the the cruise terminal, Captain Mickey & Cruise ship Minnie were waiting on us

IMG_4103Olaf was also there in a grass skirt

We have all been on several cruises but hands down this was the nicest ship, waitstaff, host, etc. we have ever encountered. The whole staff was super friendly & always helpful.

Here is our wait staff-Annabelle asked at least once a week what we think they are doing. They were a lot of fun & one night asked if they could borrow one of Annabelle’s bows

DSC_0075_2Every night for dinner we rotated between 3 different restaurants: Royal Court, Enchanted Garden & Animator’s Palate. Our wait staff followed us to each restaurant & some days with saw them at breakfast & lunch too.

Day 1: We left Port Canaveral, explored our boat, went to the Sail Away Party, saw the kids area (it was huge & so much fun-even for us grown up) had a family dance party and played shuffle board.

PicMonkey Collagedclday1Day 2: At Sea We decorated our door (did you know Disney cruisers decorated doors?! thanks to Pinterest, I did & we were prepared!) We also hung our Fish Extender (more on that later). Played min golf, swam in the Mickey pool, went to a character dance party, meet lots of characters, saw the Aladdin show(it did not disappoint-& was a wonderful show), dinner-it was formal night (and I did not get a family picture of us. I am really bad at that)

PicMonkey Collagedclday2

Day 3: At Sea. We had lots of pool timeย  & went to a character dance party, saw Wishes (another awesome Disney show) and visited with a few characters

PicMonkey Collagedclday3

Anytime Annabelle found a port hole window she had to sit & have her picture made

Day 4: St Maarten- we did a tour under 2 flags. St Maarten is owned partly by the French & Dutch. We learned a lot about it’s history & even visited a true venetian carousel & ate some of the best ice cream I have ever tasted. I got Dulce de leche, Annabelle got strawberry & Tommy got Carousel. Annabelle tried a bite of mine & then decided she no longer like the strawberry- I ended up giving her mine ๐Ÿ˜ฆ and eating her strawberry. After our tour we got back on the boat, ate lunch & then Annabelle & I took a nap. Tommy got back off the boat to explore & ride jet ski’s.

PicMonkey Collagedclday4We really needed our rest that day because it was PIRATE night! Pirate night was a blast. Parents, kids, characters & crew all dressed as pirates & it was so neat to see the whole boat participate-some a little more piratey than others but all in the spirit.

IMG_5403 IMG_5407 IMG_5424

There was a pirate show on deck before dinner & after dinner by the pool deck Capt Jack Sparrow had a show-after his show they shot fireworks off the boat!

This is my favorite family picture from the whole trip:

These are the funniest pictures of the night. Tommy was still exploring St Maarten when Annabelle & I went out to meet the character in the costumes so we all got ready separately. Tommy & I never take mirror selfies but this night we did & when I looked at the pictures later that night I really LOLed (we had 4 different cameras)

PicMonkey CollagepirateselfiesI really need to work on my pirate scowl!

Day 5 : St Thomas- We fell in love with St Thomas! It was georgous & we did not want to leave. I (actually I think WE) have wondered if we could find jobs there & relocate ๐Ÿ™‚ We walked off the boat & walked to the sky buckets & rode them to the top of Paradise Point. We stayed on top of Paradise Point for a long time & enjoyed the beauty. We also watched a bird show (birds on roller skates, playing basketball & a bird that could ride a bike on a tight rope) it was impressive. We meet the owners of the restaurant on top of Paradise Point. They were from Alabama & move there full time a few years ago.

Annabelle tried a virgin pina colada. She liked it!

DSC_0888 DSC_0893Oh No! Brain freeze!

After dinner we meet Aladdin, Jasmine, Gennie & Pinocchio!

PicMonkey Collageday52Day 6: At Sea & our 10 year Anniversary!- we spent most of the day by the pool, found some port holes so we could take me pictures, acting silly & met Tinkerbell. I am so incredibly blessed to have a wonderful family & an amazing husband who takes care of us & spoils us & still likes to act silly. I love you Tommy more than I can ever express in words or actions to show you. I am so happy that by a chance blind date we met & fell in love. Looking forward to see what the next 50+ years have in store for us.

PicMonkey Collageday6Day 7: Castaway Cay- We woke up bright & early because Tommy & I did the Castaway Cay 5k. We saw on a few blogs before we left that Disney offered a Run Disney 5K in the Bahamas & immediately we were in! They had a special activity for the kids whose parents were participating in the 5K. Annabelle had a blast & was covered in sand when we picked her up!

We spent the rest of the day on the beach & water slide. Tommy & Annabelle went snorkeling. I was hoping they would make it back in time for me to go to-but it was time to get back on the boat. I will do it next time!

PicMonkey Collagedclday7

We had an AMAZING time! I hope we can start saving and planning another one soon. Disney does a wonderful job with cruising and we really enjoyed everything about our trip. Until next time Disney Fantasy-See ya real soon!

This week it has been really HOT & we have been busy with VBS. We have found time to cool off & swim 2 days this week and have had a BLAST!

For Mother’s Day I got a point & shoot small digital camera that is waterproof up to 33ft. We, adults & kids had a lot of fun playing with it at the pool.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMy little mermaid may not have gone under the sea with me to take a picture but she is getting very brave & she dove it the water after a plastic swim ring & retrieved it. She loves swimming with her puddle jumper for the freedom but she also loves to jump in & swim with out it. I am hoping to get her in swimming lesson later in the summer.

Here are some of my favorite shots from Wednesday

I know I promised vacation pictures but this week has been FULL. I promise I will get them posted very soon.

This week Annabelle & I helped with Fellowship of Christian Athletes camp-ALL IN!

The verse of the week:

โ€œAnd whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.โ€
Colossians 3:17

We were the hydration, popsicle & snack girls.

Wednesday night as a family, with 60+ other campers & staff we went to see the Savannah Sand Gnats play.

It was Annabelle’s first baseball game & our first time in Historic Grayson Stadium. We all had a great time.

and here is my favorite foto of the week.

This weeks pictures was taken last week & is a little sneak peek to our vacation photos:

As a family we all share a LOVE of the OCEAN! Can you guess where we are?

IMG_5430Check back soon! I will have more on what we have been up too

Birthday Shenanigans

Unlike the past 3 years, we did not throw Annabelle a BIG birthday bash. We still had a lot of fun & celebrated a LOT!

1st Birthday cake we shared with Tommy’s family on Easter Sunday at the lake. I told her we could make her cake together but she wanted to go to Sam’s & pick one out. She did not pick a traditional birthday cake or cupcakes. She picked a triple chocolate pound cake with chocolate drizzle & shaved milk chocolate on top (can you tell she likes chocolate?! LOL)

IMG_4957She did an excellent job picking out a cake, it was super yummy. Annabelle & Eli both asked for seconds.

The day before her birthday we took a Lalaloopsy cake & a pinata to school, to celebrate with her classmates.

On her actual birthday we had a fun filled day! The Brown’s went to Chick-fila with us for lunch (it is Annabelle’s favorite) We let the girls play for a while in the play area

& then, half of the Phillips’ family meet us at Lovin’ Spoons for Frozen Yogurt.

DSC_0526 DSC_0535Can you guess what kind of FroYo the birhtday girl picked?!

DSC_0529Fudge Brownie Batter with chocolate sprinkles!

She knew about of lunch & yogurt plans but what she did not know was that we were going to go bowling too! (her very 1st time)

DSC_0543She did not want anymore pictures made ๐Ÿ˜ฆ she looked so cute in her bowling shoes! I did get her to take a selfie with me if her icee could be in the picture too!

We came home at 520 on the dot so that she could open her presents from Tommy & I. We gave her a soccer ball & goal and the frozen movie.

Annabelle’s choice for dinner-The Rusty Pig.

After dinner we invited our neighbors down to help us finish up the last of her birthday cake.

Happy birthday sweet girl. We LOVE you!
